# Understand payment terms
## This article explains when and how you will be billed for Certificate of Service jobs, along with what happens if a payment is rejected.
**When You Are Billed**
Jobs submitted during the day are billed at 4:00 PM PST for that day's submissions. Jobs totaling $1,000 or more are billed immediately upon submission rather than waiting for the 4:00 PM batch.
**Late Payments**
Certificate of Service does not charge late fees.
**Rejected Payments**
If a payment is rejected, the client must resolve the outstanding balance before submitting another job. This requirement does not apply to Chapter 13 trustees.
**Payment Methods**
Payment is accepted by credit card or ACH. Credit card is charged at the times described above. A 3% convenience fee applies to credit card payments. There is no processing fee for ACH. An organization can use any payment method submitted by an admin of the organization.
