# Track Certified and Priority Express mail pieces

## Certified and Priority Express mail pieces include USPS tracking, which you can access directly from the job overview page.

 

**How to Find a USPS Tracking Number**

1. Click the Certificate of Service tracking number for the job, either from Recent Activity on the Home dashboard or from Job History.
2. On the job overview page, scroll down to **Tracking Numbers**.
3. This table lists each Certified or Priority Express recipient, including their Name, Address, Mailing Type, and USPS Tracking link.

**How to Track a Mail Piece**

1. Click the blue USPS tracking number under the **Tracking link** for the recipient you want to track.
2. This opens USPS Tracking in a new window, showing the current status and delivery history for that mail piece.

**Notes**

- Only Certified and Priority Express mail pieces include a USPS tracking number. First-Class mail is not individually tracked.
- If you need USPS tracking numbers for multiple recipients, the USPS Tracking Numbers table can be paged through using **Show 10** and the arrows at the bottom of the list.
- The tracking for Certified Mail is done through USPS, not through CoS. We display the tracking number to make it easy for you to find, but we at CoS do not track the piece of mail to delivery.
