# Log out of Certificate of Service

## Automatic log-out after 15 minutes of inactivity increases security of the system. 

**How to Log Out**

1. From your dashboard at[app.certificateofservice.com](http://app.certificateofservice.com), click **Settings** in the bottom left-hand corner.
2. In the upper right corner, click **Log Out**.

**Automatic Log Out**

For your security, there is a **15-minute timeout period**. If there is no activity on your account for 15 minutes, you will be automatically logged out. You will need to sign in again the next time you visit the app.
